ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

General Philosophy for Elementary Level Students

Tutors predominantly work with students on their current classroom assignments, helping them to prepare for upcoming tests and quizzes, consulting on class projects or papers, and assisting them with concepts practiced in homework. This type of support allows the tutor to guide students at their own pace and doesn�t burden them with other work outside of their required assignments unless the need for additional focus on specific skills is determined. Should supplementary materials be necessary, our tutors have access to Morphosi Academy�S curriculum library which they can share with their students.

Elementary - 1st to 5/6th grades

General Skills

Time management and organization - Our tutors help students with organizing papers, notes, and binders, and setting goals for homework or ongoing assignments.
Reading and studying techniques - We help your student take and use clear and concise notes, work through their textbooks, research and write reports and practice study techniques based on his/her own unique skill set and needs.
Test-taking strategies and how to overcome test anxiety - We can help each student to learn how to approach multiple choice and essay tests and discuss what might create their anxiety during tests in order to diminish or eliminate their fear.
